Joseph Visser

director, photographer

Hi, I'm Joey, thanks for stopping by.

Photography is about giving, not taking. My intention is to honour my subjects, from ants to people, tell interesting stories, and preserve vibes. I specialize by toeing the line between photojournalism and editorial work, creating a relaxed environment for individuals, couples and families, and/or coaxing the human element from your brand/organization by grounding into the moment and letting the story unfold naturally.

The earth is precious and we are here to nurture our human nature, build community, share wisdom, and have fun. This personal philosophy is infused into every photo I take and every client I collaborate with.

I'm a settler on Treaty 1 Territory. Born and raised, I love the ancient lake bed that I live in.

I also make write and produce music and I also love riding my bike.
